You Come From Water is a site-specific, public neon installation created by artist Astrid Gjesing and located in the ceiling beneath Skt. Clemens Bridge. Placed in the public domain, the artwork addresses the viewer directly. Its expression and statement become relational and open to interaction – subject to the surroundings and in a dialog between the viewer and the poem.
The municipal lighting project; Lys På Aarhus is breathing new life into this public artwork, which will be protected henceforth.
