The exhibition Body Compass. When stone grows by sculptor Freja Niemann Lundrup, is an extensive installation. The material is stone and the material is the body. The installation revolves around the relationship between the exterior and the interior, and how the inner body gets an outer shape. The body’s internal records and affective system are processed in sculptural works, which in this installation consist of stones. The works explore how our body is a complex combination of social, psychological and biological processes.
