Katrine Hvid: About a Spoon Rack

With the solo exhibition About a Spoon Rack Katrine Hvid shows new paintings which all find their origin in a visual encounter with amorphously shaped spoons. These amorphous shapes have found their way into the abstract and minimalistic visual language of Katrine Hvid. Katrine Hvid paints on raw cotton canvas using acrylic and binder, and the characteristics of the materials plays a crucial part in the painting process.
