Louise Lykke Hedegaard and Birgitte Hvitved Dall both work with imprints, casting, and organic shapes. Louise Lykke Hedegaard’s works emerge in a process where she, by means of the specific properties of the materials, combines organic bodily aspects with those of architecture and the concept of the pedestal. Birgitte Hvitved Dall combines nature’s own materials with imprints and recreation in new non-organic materials such as plaster and silver, thus engendering a refinement of and narrative about ordinary things.
